Welcome To The Maschine...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
As I noted a few weeks ago, I got a Maschine Mikro. I’ve been very happy with the software, but for the way I work, the hardware was not up to the task. This is not in any way to belittle the Maschine Mikro controller. (Ha, ha, ha, see what I did there?). It is a fantastic piece of kit, and the two Maschines have identical pad banks, which is where the rubber meets the road in a drum controller.
Anyhow, this week I got the normal Maschine, and I’ve decided to keep it and let my Mikro go. The larger one is better suited to my workstyle. (As you know from watching the videos I put up occasionally, I’m not a fan of poking at a laptop while I’m actually making music, and the big one is better suited to those habits.)
So, if you would like a Maschine Mikro, here’s your chance. Mine is essentially brand new. I had it for, what, a month? Something like that. It will come with the never-installed software that came with the big Maschine (they use identical software, and since I’d already installed it from the Mikro, I didn’t need to do so again) so you won’t have any funky installation or license transfer issues.
Since it is essentially NIB, I’d like to get $300, which is $50 off the normal street price. I’ll ship anywhere, you pay actual shipping costs. I’ll also consider trades of commensurate value; you know the sort of things I like. Drop me a line if you’re interested.
EDIT: Sold.
