Hazarai? WTF?

Stopped by Old Town Music in Portland yesterday and picked up one of those new Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai pedals from EH. Pretty fun little guy, but if you’re expecting, well, a stereo Deluxe Memory Man, you’re gonna be sorely disappointed. This pedal and that one are delays, and they’re both made by EH, and that’s where the similarity ends. This is most decidedly digital, not BBD analog like the older Memory Men. It does have some fairly slick features (I like the diffusion on the “ECHO” settings, from a touch of ’verb to full on schmeer) and it sounds quite good. All in all, this is a lot of bang for your delay dollar, and I have no complaints. I paid $214 at Old Town for it.
