Labor Day...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
For those of you not in the U.S., yesterday was a holiday called “Labor Day.” Its purpose is not dissimilar to the May Day holiday that Communist countries celebrated, back when Communism was cool. That is, it’s a day for the American Worker or whatever. What it _really_ has become is the last day rednecks can take their boats out before they have to get their 6 stupid-ass kids back in school. There must have been so many boats on the lake by our house that you could walk from one side to the other without getting your feet wet. This in a state with no shortage of water. I can’t imagine what the Columbia River was like.
In any case, that’s a long-winded way of explaining why I haven’t posted in a couple days. I actually look on Labor Day as a day to labor, and got a lot of work done on my upcoming album. Which I will continue to do today.
