Speaking of miserable people...

The above pictured is a beautiful example of the Buchla Music Easel, a rare bird if ever there was one. Normally, you’d be able to visit that Easel, which resided at the Music Technology Labs of Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. I say “normally” because some enterprising yet misguided soul stole it.
Now, stealing something like this is a bit like stealing the Mona Lisa. The pool of people that are going to pay the $20K it is worth is very small, and taking it to a pawn shop will probably only get you $5.00. This particular Easel is missing the lid, and almost certainly has Evergreen embossing somewhere on its case. If you come across this unit, or someone tries to sell it to you, please contact Evergreen, or myself, and help it get home to where it belongs.
