Tube Porn Video...
From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.
A short movie made by Dave Pape about Theo Argiriadis, a British tube effect builder guy. Says Dave:
His workshop sublimates eccentric retro gear porn into a higher form,
something like gynaecological valve art - and after much pestering from me,
he agreed to assemble a little collection of units he’s made over the past
few years for me to film.
I really want to hang out with this guy. He not only knows his business, but has really good hair. Check out this distortion box he made for Dave. Hit up his website for more info, and pay special attention to that stereo spring ’verb / valve amp. That is a thing of beauty.
