Hard-Core Gear Porn Friday!!!

From the original Analog Industries archive. Some links and images from that era no longer resolve.

Yup, it’s Friday already, and you know what that means! What follows are 3 photos that are from what I believe is the now-defunct Pacific Coast Productions. Don’t quote me on that, and if I’m mistaken, I’ll gladly print a correction. Yet another example of some really, really fine synths running through not one, not two, but three Mackie boards. (At least the D8B is sorta okay, I guess, in a weird kind of way.) Ranting aside, on with the pr0n…

Here’s a nice view of the Central Command Area of this gorgeous room. The CS80 and the business end of a Waldorf Wave (don’t see those two often) hold pride of place, and you can also see an Andromeda, a Supernova, and a nice fat Obie, among the other usual suspects.

Facing the other direction, we see the Waldof Wave in all its glory. To its left we see the Holy Trinity of analog polysynths: Prophet 5, Memorymoog, and the mighty Jupiter 8. There’s some other shit there but who really cares with those four in the picture. On Monosynth Row, we see a Minimoog, an ARP 2600, and that rarest of birds, a clear Gleeman Pentaphonic. (Yeah, you’re gonna see that at a pawn shop.)

Here’s another angle on the whole shootin’ match. I’m given to understand that most of these synths have found new homes, and that’s a good thing, because this is just a little too much for me, knowing these beauties were all sitting in one place.
