What a day...

Boy, howdy. The final day of development on a new product, be it an album (my wife and I also own a record label) or piece of software, is always a major pain in the ass. We finished Ratshack Reverb today, and it was roll-up-your-sleeves-down-and-dirty. A major problem with the copy protection in Windows held things up for about 10 hours, and was no fun at all.
But we got it licked, and Ratshack Reverb will be on sale at the Audio Damage store some time tomorrow. Coincidentally, I’m getting a wisdom tooth removed from my head tomorrow, so it’ll be good fun all around. The VST versions for Windows and OSX are built and sitting on our server, waiting for the store update, and all is right with the world. After I recover from the forced extraction of one of my preceious teeth, I’ll address the RTAS port. Speaking of which, the RTAS port of Mayhem is done, and in beta-testing as I write this. I expect it to be available some time around the end of the month, or early October. After RTAS of Mayhem and Ratshack Reverb are done, we’ll begin our next product, which is a Big Secret at this point.
Since I’ll have a bit of a lull for the next couple weeks, I’m going to make another freebie VST, and was pondering what to make. Any suggestions for a small plug-in you always wanted but never found, drop me a line.
