Okay, it's been a long time since I've done this. While we're in our between-product-downtime, I'm going to open the floor to suggestions as to what Audio Damage should make next.

Obviously, we already have a fairly good idea of what we're going to be doing, but we haven't started yet, and that means we haven't actually committed yet. So there is a chance, however remote, that your idea could be better than our idea, and we'll do that next instead.

So, let's have it. The usual ground rules apply. For people that haven't been part of this before, posts like "A synth!!!111!ZOMG" are stupid and no one really cares, so don't bother. We don't do clones any more, so "you should make a clone of a Dingleberry 3000" is pointless. Tubes, spring reverbs, and tape emulation can't be done at the current state of DSP, at least not anywhere near something that could be considered worth a shit, and anyone that says otherwise is a balls-out liar or stone deaf, so don't bother mentioning tubes, tape, springs, or any combination thereof.

With that out of the way, bring that shit. What do you want to see us build?

Comments:
Well here's another one that's a bit more funky. This came to me when resonators were mentioned. It would be cool to have a resonator that took midi input to change it's pitch (delay time). Maybe multiple resonators (polyphonic). This could be hooked up with tempo sync delay and other goodies on the back end of the chain.

An Auto-EQ ....
Let me explain...

It should be a EQ :
0) Select what kind of instrument is playing on this track
1) wich display the current audio spectrum
2) it could be load a lot of time of every Fx insert we want, and they could communicate between each instance, and show the different spectrum on different instance audio playing.(like Vertex DSP)
3)It could be abble to detect what is the frenquency wich click (between all the instance loaded)..
4) tell what instance(s) retouch to don't click again or auto fix it
5)have in memory some important thing like important frequency (guitar, kick drums.......)
6) don't give any character to the sound....just remove unusable / not important frequency...

or maybe just make a Copy/paste EQ (i don't remember how it's called, you know you put a song on your track,it record the eq, after you can paste the eq on your track...)

Aaron Nevillizer. Makes everyone's voice sound like Aaron Neville. Combination of shifting formants up, and slow, heavy tremolo.

How about an AD version of a channel strip. I suppose I can create one with the plugins you already offer and adding someone else's EQ, but a single AD channel strip plugin would be nice. Just make the EQ, filter, compressor, and whatever else you toss in there different sounding enough from your current lineup to make it worth your time. I'm thinking of a setup that offers something along the lines of Nomad Factory's SC-226 studio channel, but with an AD twist of course.

gotta go with a vocoder. i'd love to hear your take on one. i suspect there is some love there.

An AD drum synth/sampler with step sequencer, FSU effects etc. would be killer.

In terms of effects, the only thing I can think of that is missing from the line up at the mo is some sort of eq.

The only thing I want is a thing that will never happen. I want somebody to do a model of the Spectra Sonics 610 limiter.

I have asked for this for years. But you guys don't do models and, apparently nobody else is cool enough.

You have, in fact, asked for that for years. I think, in that amount of time, you could have saved and bought a couple real ones, no? :-)

I'd love a synth but as that's a no then I vote for a vocoder with an AD twist.
