Obviously, we already have a fairly good idea of what we're going to be doing, but we haven't started yet, and that means we haven't actually committed yet. So there is a chance, however remote, that your idea could be better than our idea, and we'll do that next instead.
So, let's have it. The usual ground rules apply. For people that haven't been part of this before, posts like "A synth!!!111!ZOMG" are stupid and no one really cares, so don't bother. We don't do clones any more, so "you should make a clone of a Dingleberry 3000" is pointless. Tubes, spring reverbs, and tape emulation can't be done at the current state of DSP, at least not anywhere near something that could be considered worth a shit, and anyone that says otherwise is a balls-out liar or stone deaf, so don't bother mentioning tubes, tape, springs, or any combination thereof.
With that out of the way, bring that shit. What do you want to see us build?
Aleatoric and algorithmic tools that require extensive knowledge of theory to use are doomed to failure from the start. Always have been, always will be.

What I imagine is the signal from another channel sent into a frequency analyzer within the given plugin which then sends an inversion of that reading/imprint to a multi-band filter which would then attenuate the signal within that channel. It would function very similar to a standard side chain compressor, except instead of dropping the entire signal it would create space within the frequency range for the other signal to move within.
A parameter could be onset time where there was a certain amount of bleeding before the frequencies were fully diminished.

I didn't say that I wouldn't buy an EQ or Channel Strip from you guys. I would by multiples just because I was so excited. And I would buy an EQ from URS and Co if I didn't need a dongle to use it. I have worked hard to get myself dongle free, and I won't go back again. My statements were meant to be read as such. The URS M series looks totally up my alley, but I don't want to pay what they charge (mainly because I know a good portion of that price goes to pay for PACE and all the pain that goes along with that). I'm sure that you are right about the customer base that you get because of your pricing structure, but I think that Audio Damage is starting to get known among the players who have the means to pay "full price". A buddy of mine is now having a hard time deciding what makes more sense to him, a new hardware channel strip and Eos or a hardware reverb after I let him hear what I was doing with Eos. I think I read somewhere that Will.i.am doesn't like to do production work for people unless they have some Audio Damage plugins. So I guess what I want to say is: If Audio Damage EVER makes an EQ or a Channel Strip I will be in the front row to buy it. That, and I hate iLok/PACE. I am an adult, treat me as such and I will be an eternal fanboy. If you do not I will easily and gladly ignore you and your company (I'm talking to you Waves!). On the other hand I love everything you guys have put out, so ignore me and my ranting and put out your next plugin whatever it is.

With thirty steps, no less. Yeah, can't see how BigSeq2 and Automaton don't have that one well in hand.
