In case you didn't believe me when I said I get these kinds of letters a couple weeks ago, here's a picture-perfect example. I've quoted the letter in its entirety, un-edited in any way, shape, or form. I don't doubt this guy will find this eventually, as he seems to be just the sort of fellow that googles his own name on a daily basis, but confusing me with a person that gives a fuck about that sort of shit is an exercise in futility:

Hi-

I came across your site and wanted to know if you would like to send me a bunch of effects for an endorsement on your page. I also can put a link to your site on my MySpace page as well as my website. Take a look at my MySpace at www.myspace.com/jasonnevins and my website at www.jasonnevins.com and let me know what you think.

Thanks-
Jason

An open letter to Jason Nevins:

Trust me when I say that you don't really want me to let you know what I think.

Sincerely,

Chris Randall

I just checked his site and I have to say that I'm surprised anyone who whores them self out like that doesn't have a deal w/ Trojan or some other condom manufacturer.

Does that mean that the other logos on his page gave him free stuff? Perhaps people will think of this post before spamming companies for free gear thinking, "what have I got to lose?" I doubt it, though.

Dude, that guy's myspace photo is still downloading. Maybe he should have stayed in graphic design school long enough to learn how to use Imageready.

But look at the his myspace at all the other companies that are his "friends". Couldnt Audio Damage need more friends? :)

The name rang a bell. I remember that irritating Run DMC "It's like that" remix... boy. Ugh.

wow. after glancing at the guys narcissistic web vomit, I've come to the conclusion that it's guys like this that inspired the advent of voodoo and hexing...and rightly so.

Read the "Bio" what a douche! I like it when people use the word "rockin'" I lets me know to steer clear. I don't want to hear anything that's "rockin'"

I'm still stuck on the annoying use of "myspace" as a euphemism for a MySpace page.

Note to others: Just because it's on that abomination known as MySpace doesn't make it anything other than a (rather ugly) web page.

Back in the day, we didn't call a page hosted on Geocities "a geocities".

Jeff, I'd heard one such page referred to as a "geoshitty" though.
