Coming Soon From Audio Damage...

by Chris Randall

Told you it'd be quick. We've saved up a lot of ideas in the time it took to do Dr. Device. This is Liquid. It'll be done Real Soon. What does it do? As the name implies...

for the record to me "Modern Jazz" is Eric Dolphy, Ornette Coleman, Cecil Taylor, Sun Ra, Coltrane, Albert Ayler, Evan Parker, Andrew Hill, Mingus... even Max Roach who just passed.
Anyway, to me "modern jazz" is mostly older stuff... basically "good" jazz. It was called modern then like modern art-- both are old now. Post-modern and now what... that's why I asked for examples... no idea what you considered "modern"

This might be a little pedantic, but isn't any kind of organ with various stops, like, say, a hammond organ, technically a form of additive synthesis? This is not in any way, sahpe, or form, a suggestion that you should make an organ. It's just that I like a lot of organ sounds, so I definitely wouldn't go as far as to categorically say that additive synthesis sucks.

Well, we could have a lengthy discussion on how a tonewheel organ works if you'd like, but I'll attempt to answer that question with a simple "no." A tonewheel organ is an electro-mechanical device, and you're listening to electricity just like you are with an electric guitar.

"Wow, someone really did guess what it was on another site. First guess, too."

Out of curiostiy , which site are you referring to? (maybe worth a look-in for premonitions as to other future AD plugs ;)
