Coming Soon From Audio Damage...

by Chris Randall

Told you it'd be quick. We've saved up a lot of ideas in the time it took to do Dr. Device. This is Liquid. It'll be done Real Soon. What does it do? As the name implies...

One-trick plugins is a good idea. How much for this one?

Yeah, we spent a little extra and got the ultra-hip blue LEDs.

In any case, I believe it's spelled "purdy."

you should do a plugin that spits out aloteric modern jazz rhythms and melodies.

On second thought, make a pluing that spits out random midi notes and automatically renames the audio files metadata to "modern jazz".

Modern jazz plug in? Is there a market for that? A number of years ago, I made something called 'Jazz in a Can'. The chord progression was an endless circle of fifths. The sax player cycled among a limited number of rhythmic phrases within the chord progression. The only editable parameter for the sax player was 'heroin' The more herion you gave the sax player, the more 'outside' he played. The bass generated a walking bass line. The drummer basically played constant swung eighths on the ride and a parameter called 'enthusiasm' determined the frequency of random hits on the snare.

Nice! haha. Heroin parameter.. I wish I would have thought of that. This one should be called "Jazz Hands"
