FS: Telefunken V376

by Chris Randall

After spending the morning with my new SC-1, I've decided I need to clean house a little bit and get a couple more channels. So in that vein, first up on the block is a Telefunken V376 mic pre cartridge. I also have the connector and will include it. This particular cart is in good working order, and I've used it for about a year now without troubles; however, caveat emptor, it could stand to be recapped. $225 obo brings it home, and I'll throw in shipping in the U.S. of A. in honor of our nation's birthday.

EDIT: This item has been sold.

So hows the SC1 ? did you use an output Xformer or did you keep it clean?
Any chance for a shootout against some of your other pre's?

I'll do all that. I haven't got the trannies yet; as soon as I do I'll get everything together in a rack with photographs and samples.

I realise I'm a bit late on this one, but I wanted to ask: is it purely the age of the V376 in question that makes you say it needs re-capping, or is there some observable quality of the unit that leads you to this conclusion? My TAB V376b awaits your response...
