I'll be out of the office until Sunday. Adam is leaving for Japan tomorrow, as well. So things will be pretty quiet around here for the next couple days. In that vein, this is an open thread for Messe announcement discussion.

Oops, here's the hardware one. Presumably the price is a placeholder:

Are they for real?
17.5k for a digital (the hw is also dsp based isnt it?) mastering eq with m/s capabillity?

Even Bob couldnt afford one...

I think (but I'm not sure) that the hardware units are analog. They modelled the circuitry in the Scope versions after the hardware. There was a lot of talk about it at the time on PlanetZ but to be honest the Das nonsense sort of obscured my memory of the Brainworx stuff (Das was accused of copying Breainworx with lesser quality).

Nice Replicant review in Tape Op this month, and overall AD love-fest.

shamann, roland is dorky-looking. peavey is ugly. carvin is fugly.
got it? :)

mfb. i have what's probably their first product here, a very small box.

a client left it and I've never plugged it in. quality looks marginal.

Hey Penzoil, what about the sound of that MFB unit? And which one is it?
It seems to me they're probably the cheapest entry into analog sound (synth/filters that is); and as I've no intention of playing live, the build quality is less of a concern. The sound is though.

Did I miss something? Wasn't Apple supposed to make some sort of Logic announcement at Messe?
