Now, I don't normally post shit like this, as you well know, but this is a killer deal. Red Microphones (which is, as we all know, Blue Microphones with vintage paint on them or something) has a deal running where if you buy a Type A and two capsules, you get a Type B for free. Type A details here. Now, I already own a Type B (and absolutely love it; It is my go-to mic, and I have quite a few mics) so if I rock this, I'll have a stereo, albeit unmatched, pair. I'm seriously considering this. Anyone have any experience with the Type A they care to share? I haven't read many reviews of it, but what I have read was positive.

That link gave me some very strange things from my browser, about plesk and certificates and whatnot. Anyway,

<a href="link [www.vintagemicrne.co...]">link [www.vintagemicrne.co...]">This link</a>

is for the Type A mic product page which details the offer.

I am happy to see the product comes with a proper flight case. Having had to pay a bit of money (at least from my point of view) in order to purchase some custom flight cases - I think all equipment should come in its own flight case. Much more economical for the equipment manufacturer to mass produce a bunch of flight cases than to have to get one custom made!

Regarding the first comment: yes, there's probably a slight error in the referral/endorsement link Chris used in his post, it starts with the "https" protocol instead of the normal "http", and at least on Safari that thing causes a security warning. You can go on anyway.

I _think_ I fixed it. Their affiliate thing ain't the best in the business, I'll say that much.

Sorry, didn't realize it was an affiliate thing; figured it was just fuckup. My browser (Firefox) seemed to get stuck in a loop of warning me about a certificate from plesk and then asking me to accept it (or not).

So... which capsules did you order for your Type A ?

let me guess... U47 and C12 Style
