Indie promoters...

by Chris Randall

Does anyone here have any experience with an indie promoter that's worth a shit? I'm thinking 30-50 college stations, no more. The genre would be whatever is loosely defined as "alternative" these days.

i know this is weird for my first post but....
triage is really really excellent, and they do good distro. during my few years as a music director in college radio the people at triage were always my favorite, plus they do some really great labels.
aam is the other, they tend to be more oriented around artists, as opposed to labels, but are really top notch. to be honest, there isnt a single promo company out there whos packages are more looked forward to.
fanatic is also really really good.
hope that helps.
