Hmmmm....

by Chris Randall

Well, this looks like a pretty sweet product for folks like us. In short, $1400 gets you 8 channels of summing, a pretty thorough monitor section, headphone amps, and some other useful jank.

There's a tiny little picture here. I've been wondering how to fully integrate another 8 channels of audio w/ summing in to my system with the least possible cables, and this may be the easiest way. I'm trying to find out if there's insert points on the stereo sum before the monitor section; if there's not, it's an issue, but not a huge one. I think I may replace my Rosetta 200 and Central Station with an Aurora 8 and this bad boy.

No kidding. I've _almost_ bought a D2BLT a couple times now, but something made me hold off. I guess I'm luckier than you.

Hmm..... Don't recall seeing this at AES. Maybe I was too busy playing with their mid/side boxes but I'm sure I would have noticed an all in one summing box.

Analog summing eh? I've got a few bottles of snake oil I've been trying to get rid of. This bit of kit has some nice voodoo. Gave me diarrhea for a few hours but I don't mind. Came out Smoooooooth.
