Synth Mangler!

by Chris Randall

Oh, this looks like good fun, and I even like the color. What it is: if I'm reading the material right, basically you have two heavy-duty fuzz boxes, and the joystick lets you cross-fade between them. http://www.effector13.com/pedals/synthmangler/index.html>Here's the site. Don't break anything.

i have two Soda Meiser pedals and not only are they the most fun fuzz pedals ever made (so fin in fact it has me playing guitar again for the first time in years), they also work great with my Blacet modular. This box is going to be great.

cant see the video from this here linux box, but I do wonder what the hell they wanted to say with the japanese characters. The top line says "raikana" and the bottom I can only make out the first two characters "powa" but it aint the way one kana-izes "power". Fer as much as people whinge about engrish, slapping up a few random japanese characters looks just as dumb from this side of the pacific.

I don't want to disagree with your detective work, neilium et al, but I think this is actually pretty interesting. Guitar pedals are usually quite tame and tend to follow a rather strict set of boundries. i.e. a fuzz pedal is generally judged on how much it sounds like a Fuzz Face, and a top boost is judged by how similar it is to a Dallas Rangemaster.

I'm of the considered opinion that E13 is to guitar pedals as AD is to plugins, FWIW. He makes zany, new shit, and isn't afraid to try out odd things. I like 'em.
