And Again...

I'm working on several interesting things right now that would be excellent fodder for conversation here. Unfortunately, I can't talk about any of them. At all. So that leaves us with yet another Disembodied Hands video.
The fine folks at Elektron put out a new OS for the Analog Four yesterday, and after lunch today I installed it, and discovered that it gave the A4 channel mutes in performance mode like those on the MonoMachine and MachineDrum (and, I assume, OctaTrack.) I was just dicking around and testing this out against a Maschine patch I'd made earlier in the week, and figured that it'd be fun to throw up on YouTube.
Anyhow, as I said, lots going on 'round here, but nothing I can blabber about just yet. How's your day going?

I like how Live is just acting as an FX rack. How are you finding the touch interface?

@atlastop: It doesn't appeal to me at all. It's primarily a live performance sampler, and as I don't do any live performance, I don't have any use for it.
@WhatisValis: Live is not built with touch controllers in mind. It isn't very happy with touch; it isn't multi-touch aware at all, and many of the controls (specifically faders, and much of the M4L control complement) are difficult to use with touch. But for this sort of thing, or triggering clips or whatever, it's fine. I have to jack the size of the interface way up. (140% in the above video.) As a result, it makes that monitor, which is 23", look much smaller than it is.

OK, apologies... bad form on my part. It gave me a chuckle, though... the guy's audacity. In that strange way, I almost have to appreciate it. Almost.
