SpringThing...

I haven't put in the electronics yet, but the electromechanical portion of SpringThing is complete. I'm experimenting with different combinations of effects that will work in the context, for the best possible result. One more instrument to make, plus the alterations to the MATG, and it's off to the races!

As to what SpringThing sounds like, the missus is in bed with a migraine, and I'm thinking that banging on metal with other metal is probably not the best path to marital bliss, so you're gonna have to wait on that. But suffice to say it sounds about like you'd imagine. Except more doomy.
