Lots of Logic...

by Chris Randall

Ho, ho, ho. I bet you thought I was going to go off on one of my thrice-yearly rants about Logic! No such luck. What we have here is a big fat pile of logic chips, plus a metric fuckload of germanium (and silicon too) transistors and a bunch of LEDs, as well as a mess of other shit too prosaic to mention. I purchased this Pandora's Box for the low price of $10.00 at a yard sale.

The short version of this story is that you can expect my DIY output to increase significantly in the next couple weeks as I start a Fuzz Face assembly line.

(*sulk* - I want a rant about Logic)

Yeah, now I'm curious -- what don't you like about Logic?

No, there will be no Logic Rant today. My opinions are well known, courtesy of my open letter to emagic when the Switch occurred. I was endorsed by emagic for years, and a militant supporter of the company and Logic itself.

I now use Nuendo, and we'll leave it at that. What I don't like about Logic would fill pages and pages.

Is the standard metric fuckload a greater or lesser quantity than the metric shitload? One would presume that the more emphatic the perjorative the greater the associated -load, which leads one to ask, what are the subsequent prefixes on the scale? (Much like "what comes after giga/tera/peta/exa/etc.", only ruder.)

Oh, and I also vote for a Logic rant.

Metric fuckload == 1.3 Imperial fuckloads. I don't know 'bout all that other stuff.
