What The Hell Are They Building In There?

by Chris Randall

Let me state for the record that this is not an April Fool's prank. Homie don't play dat. This industry's habit of putting out fake press releases on April 1st is right down there with genital warts and Logic on my list of favorite things about the music industry.

Those PCBs are very real. And that's all I'll say right now.

In other news, we're forging ahead with dealing with the 64-bit Boondoggle. The easiest ones are done, and now we have to figure out how to deal with the old products. This is an especially difficult process with the oldest ones, since we've been coding the plugs with this Boondoggle in mind for some time, and the younger plugs (basically from Ronin's re-release on) are able to deal with it in a certain fashion. But anything before that (roughly half our catalog) has Issues that need to be Dealt With.

The upshot is that you'll see me saying "FUCKING LOGIC" on my Twitter feed a lot more often in the next couple months.

This is clearly the start of a line of AD eurocrack modules.

@4lefts - I have one of the Hexe Revolvers and it IS a very cool pedal. Well built and a lot of fun. I prefer it to my Teaspoon. The downside is that it costs $460.

If you want to purchase from Hexe just email and the dude will reply. Takes about 10 days to get your pedal if he has one built.

For cheap glitchy pedal fun there is always the Boss DD-6.

Utilitarian huh?

I'm guessing it's AD branded 8MB RAM modules for the Roland VP-9000.

Damn, DGillespie is gooooood. How did you guess?

Our next thing after that is going to be memory carts for the DK Synergy. We really want to spend tens of thousands of dollars developing things only 2 people need. ;-)

It's a good thing you're going after the Synergy market. The long promised Audio Damage / Wendy Carlos collaboration is finally coming to fruition.

Damn, thought it was a hardware version of Phosphor :-/ On the other hand you said it wasn't as sexy as we were thinking...

Whatever it is, I'm sure I'll have to start saving up for it now. My fiance has no idea how much money I've spent on AD stuff.

that hexe pedal looks awesome for people who want things that are completely different than what i want. ie., ALL of my replicant buttons on a pedal, a sample time of more than one second (!?!) PLUS i want tap tempo.

i want to play gay "riffs" into it and have it play back not-gay ones, which is what i have come to rely on replicant for, if i want to be totally honest with myself.

and i want laser eyes.

and a fraggle.
