And while we're on the subject of sexy...

I don't normally like to cop material from other music blogs. I figure that you're all just like me and read all of them. However, Matrixsynth, the final arbiter of all things Analog, just hipped me to this site, a "fan" site for the Sequential Circuits Pro-FX system.

Now, I ran in to one of these complete systems in a pawn shop once, around '95 or so. It was $150 and I didn't buy it. I've been kicking myself for nigh on a decade about this, to the point where I have a permanent bruise. (It's right next to the one I have from passing up a NIB Prophet 5 Rev 3.2 for a grand). A lot of people don't know that SCI, along with Moog, made outboard.

Anyways, the site itself is on the thin side, and hasn't been updated in several years, but it has info on each module in the system, and some really nice pr0n. The Pro-FX was designed by Dave Smith, and is thus permanently placed in the Cool file. If any of you are aware of one of these systems for sale, even the 3U one, please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

A guy I know has several 3u racks worth of this stuff. He got paid for an engineering gig with them once. Next time I see him I'll ask if he's interested in selling any, I know he sold a 3u worth of modules once...
